Glastonbury Festival: The Glastonbury music festival always attracts huge crowds, and 2016 is set to be better than ever. Taking over a massive 2000 acres, this is a fabulous experience with some incredible musical talent taking to the stage. The festival takes place between 22nd and 26th June 2016 and you will be able to enjoy an electric atmosphere as you take in the great entertainment and mix with other festival-goers.

Cheltenham Festival: The 2015 Cheltenham Festival was exciting enough but this year’s will be better than ever. It was recently announced that communications firm Timico will be sponsoring the Cheltenham Gold Cup and has boosted the prize money by £25,000, which means the competition will be especially stiff amongst those participating. You can look forward to thrills and excitement at this annual event and the Cheltenham Gold Cup host venue is certain to be packed and racing fans attend in their droves between 17th and 19th March 2016. If you are not lucky enough to be able to attend this exciting sporting event you can always head to sites such as Coral where you can keep up with the latest Gold Cup news and information as well as place bets.

Great British Food Festival: Taking place in Cheshire in September 2016, this is a must-visit event for all foodies. You can look forward to more than one hundred traders offering sumptuous food, demos from top chefs, competitions, and entertainment for the whole family. You can wash all that great food down with some real ale as you take in the beautiful surroundings of Arley Hall where the 2016 event will be taking place.

Edinburgh International Film Festival: If you have a keen interest in film or you simply want to explore and learn about some of the new talent out there, a visit to the ever-popular Edinburgh International Film Festival is a great idea. You will be able to take in both local and international screenings with a host of entertainment in a variety of different genres. The festival takes place in June 2016 and even offers educational opportunities such as workshops in addition to the thrill of the awards ceremonies.
